Jeff Wendt spent much of his career as VP of Operations at a major printing company, managing print projects for large catalogs and magazines. On the side, he found fulfillment in construction, woodworking, and wood restoration.
When Jeff grew weary of the daily grind, he decided to launch JRW Wood Services. That was over a decade ago. Since then, he has remodeled countless kitchens, baths, lower levels, cabins and homes.
Ronnie Wendt’s journey mirrors this story. She spent most of her career running a large group of magazines and websites. She eventually decided to venture out on her own, giving rise to her copywriting agency, In Good Company Communications. While Ronnie continues to run her firm, she also plays a vital role behind the scenes at JRW Wood Services.
From day one, the couple has focused on quality and service. This hard work and dedication has paid off. JRW Wood Services continues to expand thanks to its excellent craftsmanship and service.

Jeff helped restore the beautiful woodwork of the century-old Hotel Northland in Green Bay.
													Ronnie runs a successful copywriting business but also plays a key role at JRW Wood Services. She’s a talented writer, photographer and artist, and is about to finish a degree in interior design. She loves styling cozy and practical spaces.

Although writing is her main love, Ronnie has a knack for transforming old furniture into stylish vanities and islands, always finding new ways to breathe life into vintage pieces.
Favorite Past Times
When she’s not working, you can catch Ronnie exploring the great outdoors with Jeff. She cherishes time spent with her family, especially her three grandkids.

As a Midwest wedding photographer, Ronnie won several national awards for her work. 
													Sam initially planned to spend a couple of years in carpentry to pick up some “life skills” before heading off to college. But he discovered a new dream along the way. Sam enjoys every aspect of home building and has picked up skills in stick and balloon framing. He’s a well-rounded builder, but his passion lies in the meticulous craft of finish carpentry and complex framing.

Decks and pergolas are his go-to projects. They let him show off his creativity.
Favorite Past Times
When he’s off the clock, you’ll find Sam in the woods or on the water. He’s an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoys hanging out with Abby, their mini-dachshund Zucchini, and family.

Sam is an amazing artist, able to draw and paint almost anything.
													Abby had her sights on studying physical therapy, but everything changed when she met Sam. He reignited her love for art, leading her to switch gears. She started working in display at a furniture store while pursuing a degree in interior design. Abby’s education and creative ideas boosted sales at the furniture store.

Abby enjoys curating selections for people’s homes and bringing their interiors to life.
Favorite Past Times
Abby loves reading, hanging out with Sam and their dog Zucchini, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores and antique shops. She has a knack for giving old items a fresh look and feel.
